The Magic Fishbone by Charles Dickens
We first walked around Christchurch Mansion and had a taste of what life may have been like as a rich Victorian.
After a picnic lunch we watched the play. A tale of a young girl whose family is in financial difficulty. She is granted one wish from a magic salmon fishbone once she has dried it, rubbed it and p, p, p, p, p, polished it! However, if she wishes for the wrong thing at the wrong time something terrible will happen.
This was a very engaging performance which had the children enthralled!
