Viking Exhibition ‘best ever’
Pupils from Year 4, many dressed in period costume showcased work from their Viking project in an exhibition to pupils and parents on Wednesday 19th October. Children sang as parents and visitors entered the hall and everyone was impressed with the high standard of work on display. Longships, model villages, jewellery and weaponry were just some of the work on view. Each child proudly displayed their Viking ‘name’ alongside Viking factfiles and posters. Many pupils expressed that the Viking topic was the ‘best’ they had ever studied at school. Special thanks to the teachers for their hard work in putting together such an exciting programme of work, and also to parents and family members for the many hours of work spent helping with the homework project.
