Years 5 and 6 are studying coasts in Geography this term. Last week they each took a trip to Walton-on-the-Naze to find out exactly what a coast is.
One of the children defined a coast as: A place where land and water meet.
At the coast we learnt a little about how old rocks and fossils are. Then we went on a scavenger hunt on the beach looking for shark’s teeth and fossils.
Take a look at our photographs.
