IPSSA Medium School Boys' Football League Match Report: Claydon 0-1 The Oaks A (22.02.16)

On Monday 22nd February 2016 The Oaks A-Team played away against Claydon.

During the first half both teams played really well and had a few chances to score. Claydon were a good team, second in the league. Whilst The Oaks were playing well the whistle was blown for half time.

In the second half Jack R came on for Lee to give him a rest. Ashley our goalkeeper made a few great saves to keep the score at 0-0. It was looking like a 0-0 game until Ryan swopped places with Jack B. Ashley kicked the ball down pitch, Claydons two defenders just stood still and their goal keeper came out to get the ball. Ryan got to the ball first, shot and scored in the bottom left corner of the goal. Everyone went crazy! 1-0 to The Oaks! Claydon then went on to have two corners but failed to score. The whistle was then blown and The Oaks players were so happy to have won the game.

Well done to Ashley, Jenson, Ruben, Lee, Jack R, Tom, Ryan and Jack B.
