Autumn Term
For this term, our topic was Britain Under Attack! We visited Colchester Castle start our topic off, which the children all really enjoyed. We learned about Romans, Anglo-Saxons and Vikings and how they changed Britain.
Spring Term
This term we have been learning all about our Savage World! The children have absolutely loved finding out about natural disasters in Britain and around the world. We started our topic off with a fantastic trip to the Natural History Museum in London. Since then, we have learned about the causes and effects of natural disasters, as well as the prevention measures put in place. We were lucky enough to visit the construction site of the Ipswich Tidal Barrier- a huge local project, with a cost of £54,000000! We are very much looking forward to our fundraiser at the end of this project, when we will be raising money for Oxfam (a charity which deliver aid to victims of natural disasters). We will be selling our framed artwork, charity wristbands and performing our charity single!
Summer Term
In Summer Term, we will be studying the Ancient Greeks and how they have shaped our world today.
