The Complete Human Strategy is an in-house, evidence based approach to wellbeing that is unique to ASSET.
Based on 6 pillars of wellbeing, the CHS nurtures the wellbeing of children, staff and families and promotes a culture in which everyone thrives.
The 6 pillars of wellbeing
Relationships & Communication
Positivity
Time Well Spent
Structure & Stability
Expertise
Place
The programme works by inviting children, families and staff to reflect on their wellbeing in each of the pillars over the year in regular half termly surveys. Tweaks can then be made to practice to target needs at a very early stage.
If challenges do occur we empower children, families and staff by offering the chance to review all of the pillars. It is then clear which pillar they need to focus on and we offer ideas of support.
If the challenges persist we offer a range of specialist support who can support us reacting to the situation. For children this may be through the SENCO or pastoral team, for families this might be through our Early Help offer and for staff we offer employee assistance.
